 Markets Entrance Cost

Q.  Is there a charge to enter the markets?
A.  The markets are free of charge to enter, and browse the stalls.

 Markets Days and Times

Q.  When are the markets open?
A.  The markets are held the second Friday of every month from 5pm to 9pm.  The markets are held in the grounds of Our Lady Help of Christians School.  Entrance is via 6 - 8 Cambridge Street Epping or 29 Oxford Street Epping.

Different Stalls

Q.  How many stalls are there and what do they sell?
A.  Up to 65 stall holders sell organic foods and a variety of fresh produce (including fruits, cheeses, olives, oils, sweet and baked items, pastas, cakes and pastries, plants and herbs), and beautiful, unique hand-crafted items and giftwares.  See Stalls Directory.

Public Transport

Q.  Is there public transport available?
A.  The markets are easily accessible by public transport, either from the new Epping Railway Station, or the bus interchange at the corner of Oxford and Cambridge Streets, Epping.

Travelling by Car

Q.  Is there parking available at the markets?
A.  Car spaces for visitors travelling to the markets by car are available in the surrounding streets.

Wheel Chair Access and Amenities

Q.  What facilities are available?
A.  The markets are user friendly for people with different abilities.  There are disabled toilet facilities, as well as wheel chair access ramps throughout. 

Seating and Eating

Q.  Can I sit down to relax, or enjoy a coffee or cold drink?
A.  Seating is available.  Light refreshments, take-away food, as well as different international cuisines are available for dining.  See Dining Stalls.

Lost Children

Q.  Who can I contact if I become separated from my child?
A.  Any of the Markets Committee staff identified by an arm band, or the Markets Information Stall near the Cambridge Street entrance.  All staff at the markets are connected by two-way radio, so it is very easy to seek help in these circumstances.  With lost children, we normally take them to the Information Stall and care for them, until they can be re-united. 

Lost and Found

Q.  Where can I report a lost item, or return a found item?
A.  You may report such items at the Markets Information Stall near the Cambridge Street entrance, or to any of the Markets Committee staff identified by an arm band.  For information on lost and found items outside market hours, please refer to the 'Contact Us' section on the website.

First Aid

Q.  Where can I go to seek first aid?
A.  The First Aid station is located at the Markets Information Stall, near the Cambridge Street entrance. 

Animals in the Markets

Q.  Can I bring my pet animal(s)?
A.  Due to food and health regulations, no animals, except for assistance dogs, are permitted in the markets.
